Inapinan Farmers Organization Inc. (IFOI)

Inapinan Farmers Organization Inc. (IFOI) was established  with the assistance of  the Diocese Social Action Council of the Vicariate of Bontoc-Lagawe in 2015. The Council is in link to Caritas Foundation Philippines National Secretariat for Social Action (NASSA), a humanitarian, development and advocacy arm of the Catholic Church in the Philippines. The Council aimed to empower selected communities starting with So.sitio Licoy and Babba of Barangay Poblacion, Paracelis and So.sitio Addang of Barangay Bunot of the same Municipality towards sustainable agriculture, climate change mitigation and adaptation, community-based risk reduction management and agricultural-based livelihoods as its core programs thus assisting the IFOIPO up to present.

IFOI is registered to DOLE in March 2019 with 30 household members from Sitio Licoy and Sitio Babba. More members were added since then hence at present, there are 44 household members. The IPO is chaired by Mr. Anthony Dawagan from the start of the organization up to the present. In 2019, IFOI was granted monetary and technical support from Tebtebba Foundation for the construction of their Multi-purpose processing center primarily housing the muscovado processing of the organization.
